Kajsa (KY-sa)

Role: Goddess of the Arcane

Symbol: Four four-sided stars of different sizes

Weapon: Staff

Kajsa is unlike any other being in the pantheon — and that becomes immediately apparent the moment you lay eyes on her. She has four arms, which she uses to weave the threads of magic in ways no other god or mortal could ever replicate. Her eyes hold no visible irises or pupils. Instead, what you see when you look into them are magical energies coalescing and swirling, as if her physical form is simply a vessel — a container for something far larger and older than flesh.

She is ethereal and aloof, a goddess who exists at a remove from the concerns of mortals and even most of her fellow deities. When she speaks, those listening are often unsure whether they are hearing her with their ears or directly inside their minds. The distinction, one suspects, doesn’t particularly concern her.

Her connection to the arcane is not merely divine — it is singular. She feels the threads of magic across the world as if they are extensions of herself, which means that when something goes wrong with those threads, she knows it before anyone else does.

Interesting Facts:

  • During the God Rain, it was Kajsa who sensed what Serexie was about to do through her unique connection to the world’s magical forces — and it was Kajsa who cried out to stop her. She was too late. That moment has never left her.
  • Her four arms are not simply an unusual physical trait. They are the reason she can manipulate magic the way she does — four points of contact with the arcane weave simultaneously, where others can manage only two.
