Romyn
(ROW-mine)
Race: Elf
Role: Sailor, Fighter
Romyn is the kind of person who arrives in a room and immediately makes it feel smaller — not because she’s large, but because she fills whatever space she occupies completely and without apology. Short curly red hair, pointed ears, and a smile that sits just slightly on the wrong side of mischievous, she is instantly recognizable and almost impossible to ignore.
She talks the way she moves — fast. Sentences come out in bursts, one thought tumbling immediately into the next without much patience for pauses or transitions. She is not scattered — her mind is sharp and she lands where she means to land — but she sees no particular reason to slow down for anyone who can’t keep up. Conversations with Romyn require attention. She rewards it.
In a fight she is pure instinct and momentum, a stark contrast to her cousin Amandal’s measured control. Where he calculates, she moves. Her speed is genuinely remarkable — the kind that makes experienced fighters blink and recalibrate — and she fights with the all-in energy of someone who has never once considered the possibility of losing. She is young, she is fearless, and she is considerably more dangerous than she looks.
She and Amandal have been companions long enough that they operate as a unit without needing to discuss it, their opposite styles complementing each other in ways that have gotten both of them out of situations that should have ended badly.

Interesting Facts:
- Her speed is not limited to combat. Romyn at a full sprint is something that has to be seen to be believed, and she has left more than one person standing flatfooted wondering what just happened.
- She calls her cousin Amandal by name exactly when she needs him to pay attention — which, given how fast she normally talks, is the clearest signal he has that something is actually serious.
