MeLynn
(meh-LYN)
Race: Human
Role: Crew Member, Copper Horizon
MeLynn is the kind of person who makes a ship feel like a home. Warm, easy to laugh, and genuinely interested in the people around her, she is one of those rare crew members who seems to know everyone and be liked by all of them in return. Her fiery red hair is as distinctive as her personality — bright, impossible to miss, and entirely her own.
She has a gift for music that she carries as naturally as she carries everything else — not as a performance, but as part of who she is. A song from MeLynn isn’t an occasion. It’s just what happens when MeLynn is happy, or thoughtful, or wants to give something to the people around her. The crew of the Copper Horizon knows her songs the way they know the ship’s creaking — as part of the rhythm of life aboard.
What defines MeLynn most, however, is not her warmth or her voice. It is her instincts. When something goes wrong, MeLynn does not hesitate. She does not calculate. She simply moves — toward danger, toward the person who needs help, without a single thought for herself. It is not something she decided to be. It is simply what she is.
She is, in every sense, exactly the kind of person the world should have more of.

Interesting Facts:
- The phrase “Let the stars lead you home” — a line from one of her songs — became something the crew of the Copper Horizon carried with them long after she sang it. They did not know, when they first heard it, how much it would come to mean.
- Ghost considers her one of his closest friends aboard the Horizon. She was one of the first people on the ship who made him feel like he belonged there, and the only actual member of the crew who calls him Dev instead of Ghost.
