Joatham Highbloom (JOE-thum HY-bloom)
Race: Human (Divinari)
Role: Adventurer, Warrior, Protector, Husband, Father
Joatham Highbloom is a man who seems built for legend. His Divinari bloodline gives him a striking appearance — chiseled features, nearly snow-white hair with a single wisp of pitch-black running feather-like across the top, and eyes the deep, unnatural blue of a perfect summer sky. He carries himself with the earned confidence of a seasoned warrior, one who has faced dragons, survived battles that killed better men, and come out the other side still standing.
But Joatham is not simply a fighter. Beneath the warrior exterior is a man shaped by loss — someone who traded the thrill of adventure for something he considered far more important: protecting people who couldn’t protect themselves. That shift defines him. He is devoted, principled, and deeply faithful, a man who tends his garden, loves his family, and prays with genuine sincerity. His morning star, Prickly Pear, and the flower adorned on his shield are testaments to a grief he never quite set down — and a promise he made because of it.
He is also, by any measure, a good man. Patient. Loving. The kind of father and husband whose whole world is the people around him. Which makes what is coming all the more devastating.

Interesting Facts:
- His famous nickname “Highbloom” wasn’t chosen — it was a joke by a halfling companion that simply refused to go away.
- His beloved morning star, Prickly Pear, has the same origin story. Joatham’s friends had a gift for names that stuck.
