Brian Nixon is a storyteller, musician, and self-described big old nerd living in Utah with his wife of 25+ years, their three children, and a bird who hates him despite his best efforts.

He came to fiction writing later in life. At least on the written page. He wrote 2 pages of a Star Wars book when he was about eleven years old. Then in junior high school his English teacher had the class write their own final act of Julius Caesar. That was one of the only assignments that he actually kept.

Then nothing for decades other than an occasional back story for his D&D characters. Then on a whim, he started to expand one of those back stories. What began as a 4 page backstory has grown into the Highfallen series.

Then came Mint Condition, a story born of a desire to write something his wife might enjoy more than his fantasy books, and a personal experience between him and his dad.

He tries to write with a passion for stories that balance heart, adventure, and faith — worlds and characters that feel real enough to stay with you after the last page.

Brian is the author of the Highfallen Saga, an epic fantasy series following Sabrael Highfallen through a world of divine silence, unlikely alliances, and hard-won courage. He is also the author of Mint Condition, a contemporary romance, and is currently at work on Journey to Jerusalem, a historical musical set in the years following the crucifixion of Christ.

He really has more ideas than time.
